As a Technical Sales & Proposals Engineers at Avanceon, your responsibilities will entail;
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate inquiries through client meetings and site visits.
- Develop technically compliant and cost-effective proposals for turn-key solutions (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process Automation).
- Analyze RFQs to align with technical and commercial requirements, ensuring comprehensive integration of subcontractors and systems.
- Leverage experience in automation and high-level SCADA systems throughout the proposal process.
- Ensure compliance with all business conduct policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and streamline project execution.
- Maintain a strong commercial presence to influence key stakeholders, collaborating effectively with international teams for customer-centric solutions.
- Enhance sales team effectiveness by supporting technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.
- Align team efforts with internal stakeholders to ensure timely task completion.
- Oversee customer training programs facilitated by OEMs, including Rockwell Automation and Endress+Hauser.
- Lead international bids and proposals, minimizing risk in all outgoing submissions.
- Collaborate with global OEMs to track Capex programs and meet user specifications.
- Create detailed Capex/Sales plans for automation solutions and services.
- Analyze key accounts and implement strategies to increase market share.
- Address and resolve customer issues with tailored, value-driven solutions, reinforcing value propositions.
- Negotiate effectively with customers, understanding contractual terms and conditions.
- Guide the team toward optimal solutions that satisfy customer needs.
- Oversee issue resolution within the team, ensuring timely proposal submissions.
- Train new team members and keep the entire team updated on market advancements and solution innovations.
Preferred Qualifications
• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
• 6+ years of Proposal Development Experience.
• 6+ years of Industrial Automation power control or related industry experience.
• Have an estimation background of any Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process control entity.
• Fluency in both written and verbal English.
• Experienced in customer interaction.
• Strong business writing and communications skills.
• Possess a high level of commercial awareness.
• Strong desire to provide a high level of support and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Manage stakeholder relationships tactfully and efficiently.
• Analyze and make informed decisions. Guide team through the decision-making process to achieve business targets.
