Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Package Engineer (WHCP) with expertise in Wellhead Control Systems to join our dynamic team. As a Package Engineer, you will be responsible for design and Engineering cutting-edge wellhead control solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the oil and gas industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and contributing to the growth of our organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. System Design and Engineering: Develop detailed designs for wellhead control systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated and efficient solutions.
  2. Product Selection: Identify suitable components and equipment for wellhead control systems, including valves, actuators, control panels, and instrumentation. Include sizing calculations for Valves, Flow Meters, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Power Systems. Evaluate and select vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and generate the purchase requisition.
  3. Cost Estimation: Conduct accurate cost estimation for proposed wellhead control systems. Analyze project budgets, material costs, labor requirements, and other expenses to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  4. Project Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including engineering drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and compliance reports. Also provide inputs and review of drawings including panel layout, electrical schematic, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument Installation Details, Process / Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all wellhead control systems comply with industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality assurance procedures. Perform thorough testing and validation of system components and configurations.
  6. Site Services & Commissioning: Carryout onshore and offshore site surveys and commissioning as required.

Qualification/ Minimum Requirement:

    Required Experience: Minimum 5 years

    Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related fields) or equivalent experience.

    ∙ Familiarity with industry codes, standards and recommended practices such as ISA, NFPA, BS, NEC, API, IEC, etc. especially such as API 6A, API 17D, and API 17H.

    ∙ Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in wellhead control applications.

    ∙ Competent to carry out the Design activity in the Design-Check-Approve-Authorize cycle.

    ∙ Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

    ∙ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. to address technical challenges during the design and implementation phases.

    ∙ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
