Role Summary

Product Business Development Manager is responsible for countrywide implementation of product strategies and plans to develop assigned products Endress Hauser Field Instrumentation, Control valves and Servomex Analyzers. The role helping to drive product marketing with existing customers and new green / brown field projects. This role will interface with clients, consultants, OEMs and sales team. The Product Lead will also drive requirements analysis, functional design and user interfaces to ensure our products are compelling and demonstrate value to our customers and the market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
  • Obtains product market share by working with sales team to develop product sales strategies.
  • Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
  • Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, LinkedIn advertising, and social media marketing.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, Product Webinars, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • A good in-depth knowledge of the industry vertical sector F&B, Sugar, Power, Chemical/Fertilizers, Oil & Gas, Cement and FMCG

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
  • 4 to 5 years of experience
  • Problem solving skills, Must know account management, contract management and tendering
  • Industrial Instrumentation and gas analyzers technical and sales experience
  • Ability to present to customers, higher management and participate in customer meeting and discussions.
  • Must be well-groomed
