Job Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will oversee SQL Server databases, ensuring their smooth operation through query optimization, performance tuning, and regular maintenance. Collaborating closely with the development team, you'll troubleshoot and fine-tune applications for optimal performance. Additionally, you'll manage backups, implement disaster recovery policies, and support database clustering for high availability.
Job Description:
- Design and develop SSIS packages in Visual Studio.
- ETL Development, Testing, Maintenance and Troubleshooting in SSIS.
- Administration of SQL databases.
- Creation and maintenance of SQL queries, ad-hoc queries and query execution plans.
- Daily monitoring of automated processes and maintenance.
- Works closely with application development team to tune and troubleshoot problems.
- Establishes and maintains database backups, disaster recovery & recovery policies and procedures.
- Performs query optimization, database performance evaluation and tuning.
- Perform database Clustering/High Availability support.
- Worked with SQL Server diagnostics information queries such as DMV.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT.
- 5-6 years of experience with MS SQL Server /SSIS.
- MCSE certification preferred.
