Job Description

Coordination and execution of onsite technical support services of Scada & Controls Systems installed base including related field instrumentations. Responsibility also includes efficiently reporting full life cycle of service execution to Team Lead. The position will require close working relationship with internal and external teams.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance execution & reporting to Team Lead
  • Execution of all site activities as per monthly maintenance plan in coordination with Team Lead.
  • Execution of maintenance & technical support services of control systems and instrumentations utilities.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the city for support and maintenance executions.
  • Servicing and replacing faulty equipment as needed.
  • This includes, but not limited to, preventive maintenance tasks such as Field instruments calibration, Logic testing, Pannel components health checks, identifying & incorporating improvements to enhance system’s reliability & availability to reduce process downtime to a minimum.
  • Responding to incidents and problems coming directly from Team lead through On-Site support visits.
  • Being always available, 24x7, including public holidays to address any urgent corrective or regular maintenance calls.
  • To compile and submit regular maintenance reports to Team lead for review in timely manner.

Qualifications:

BSc Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/ Mechatronics/Computer Systems)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge in SCADA, control systems, PLC, Field instrumentations to execute maintenance of installed SCADA and Control system.
  • Knowledge & skillset for diagnosis & troubleshooting of Control systems, Skillset on Rockwell/allen Bradley systems is critical & will be considered as a major advantage.
  • Experience in working in Rail industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge & skillset for diagnosis & troubleshooting of field instrumentation, Control systems, Networking & Knowledge of BMS plant operation, FPS, HVAC, Ventilation, Drainage and Chilled water pumps will be considered as added advantage.
  • Understanding about maintenance techniques such as maintenance planning tables, preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, performing root cause failure analysis, failure mode and effect analysis etc.
  • Flexibility to travel within the city majorly on day to day basis and different cities across the country on selected occasions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Control systems ( Allen Bradley PLC & Scada).
  • Preferably 3 years or above experience in the field of I&E maintenance & technical executions.
